Job Description
Job DescriptionDevelop the Android libraries, services, and SDKs which form the foundation of Client's mobile applications.
Work in a fast-paced Scrum environment delivering complete features for the end user.
Work with REST APIs and services.
Work closely with the client & customers in guiding software architecture and technology decisions.
Follow software engineering best practices in code, architecture, and testing.
Build a light-weight, low latent Android applications with limited or no dependency on third-party modules.
Build application logic & develop user facing features in Kotlin.
Build reusable components & front-end libraries for future use, as and wherever needed. Translate designs & wireframes into high-quality code.
Plan for new technology insertion & trade-offs in development.
Further, we expect you to be comfortable wearing multiple hats, & be a proactive contributor towards building something truly remarkable.
Qualifications
A passion for developing products, and working as an Individual Contributor.
8+ years working in software/Application development
Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms and software design, with strong analytical and debugging skills.
Experience with Java and Kotlin Android development, and ability to pick up new languages and tools quickly.
Experience creating custom libraries.
Proficiency in various software design patterns.
Accountable & a proactive communicator.
Familiarity with one or more of the following a bonus:
oAndroid Studio
oRobolectric
oEspresso
oSOTI
oJenkins
A focus on user-oriented development, supporting services, and end-user satisfaction.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery/Continuous Deployment testing, tooling, and processes.

Capable of communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in written form
Experience using .Net, .Net core, C#, and Microservices
Experience in migrating workloads to the cloud
Experience and comfort with delivering technical design workshops for enterprise customers.
Knowledge of cloud system engineering principles and considerations
Experience in cloud architectures, including web, application, and database components
Experience with Azure Governance and Best Practices (Role Based Access Control, Networking Architectures, Cost Management controls, etc.)
Understanding of Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure DevOps preferred
Strong understanding of multi-region environments and global connectivity requirements
Experience with migration readiness and planning tools (ex. Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery Planner)
Understanding of security/compliance requirements as it relates to Azure services and regions
A strong desire for personal development and learning
Client relationship skills and experience managing vendors
