SI Solution Specialist - Chennai - Nokia

• Provide technical/architectural guidance to solution engineers working on developing test scripts using Python language to test 5G/4G/3G call flows.
• Able to group convert various customer specific test scenarios into high level solution design and proactively identify test tools to automate the same.
• Responsible for overall execution of test (automation/manual) projects in area of 5G/4G/3G/2G technologies, across IMS/EPC/SDM domains for various Nokia customers.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in test automation framework (Robot) and Python scripting language.
• Able to continuously renew the automation review guidelines set within the team. Ensure developed reusable keywords test scripts meet the automation guideline.
• Join daily scrum calls within team to remove any impediments causing delays.

Mandatory Skills:

• Should have 7+ years of relevant experience in Telecom Domain.
• Good expertise on 5G/4G/3G technologies and should be familiar with the network call flows
• IMS/SDM/EPC domain knowledge
• Wireshark packet analysis
• Experience in Protocol testing including HTTP2, SIP, MAP, Diameter.
• Experience in developing reusable test automation scripts using Python and Robot Framework.
• Good understanding of Agile scrum methodologies.
• Handson experience in Docker containers and Kubernetes.
• Sound understanding of Telco Cloud technologies such as VNFI, Open Stack.
• Sound knowledge in Linux/CentOS, TCP/IP stack
• Strong DevOps knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You have a Telecommunications / Electronics / SW / Computer master s degree or equivalent through experience
• Up to ~25% travel (flexible)

Nice to have skills:

• Experience in using Spirent (Landslide), SIPP, IPSL protocol simulator, REST API
• Experience in working in Nokia specific IMS, EPC, SDM products and solution
• Understanding of 5G network elements and interfaces is plus.
• Basic understanding of ML/AI is plus
