Job Description
Perform engineering calculations as per industry design code to verify the design, safety standard and other standards like ASME, self-review checking drawings and validate the design.Preparing design of 3D modeling, good standard 2D drafting and assembly drawings from conceptual design to manufacturing level with minimum errorand releasing the same.
Meeting the target of design schedule with communicating team leader time to time.
Generation, compiling and keeping equipment documentation and report up to date as per Design release change or reverse engineering.
Close interaction and support to control and assembly department to validate released design.
Providing input, co-ordination and support to the documentation department for manual.
Packaging, SPM, Product Design & development, Conveyors, Automation Industry, jig fixture design & tooling design, Robotics,Sheet metal, Material handling, AutoCADSolid Edge, software, GD&T, ERP, PLM
Candidate should have self-disciplined, confident, enthusiast, ready to learn, good analytical, oral &written communication skill.
Proficient in 3D modeling, 2D drafting and assembly in Solid Edge is preferred, Catia, or in Autodesk Inventor.
Experience in basic engineering calculation, knowledge & selection of mechanical elements, hydraulics & pneumatics bought out parts.Understanding and application of sensors, controls, sheet metal, welding and welding standard.
Report generation, support to trails, testing, other department, documentation support for manual.
Ability to work in engineering team and maintain positive relationship with team and other department.
ISO documentation knowledge as per industry standard and norms is an added advantage also DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP, FEA knowledge, Piping and surfacing knowledge in 3D software.
Strong understanding knowledge of engineering design, manufacturing process of parts, Engineering materials science.
Sound knowledge & experience of AutoCAD Layout drawings Sheet metal, Part & assembly modeling drawings and drafting standards, office tools, presentation skills.
