Required Skills Expectation

Architecural Practical experience in architecting solution based on Java technology using Microservices architecture style

MicroService Knowledge on micro service design pattern

Micro service deployment & tools & technolgy ( Spring boot/Docker/Kubernetes/Cloud componenets etc)

Spring Boot Should be well versed with IOC, Web, Microservices

Able to create model mappings to the database and perform CRUD ops.

Transaction management (JPA/Hibernate)

Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL Able to perform basic database operations like create, delete, update.

Able to write efficient stored procedures.

Able to write scripts to move data from one database to another.

ActiveMQ/Kafka Able to write a messaging layer using ActiveMQ/Kafka libraries.

Should have worked with Java Messaging Service (JMS)

Gradle/Maven Able to build and create packages.

Jenkins Able to understand existing pipelines and their responsiblities.

Able to setup pipelines for java.

Wildfly/Tomcat Able to build an application targetting this server.

Struts Able to create REST APIs using interceptors, actions and validators

Well versed with servlets, JSP and JSTL

Weblogic/Websphere Able to configure an application

MyBatis Able to invoke stored procedures and inline sql to perform operations on the database.

WSO2 Able to configure and manage APIs for services behind WSO2 API manager.

Azure/AWS Understand cloud concepts and worked on some PaaS services

Glowroot/JProfiler Able to identify, analyze performance issues and fix them.

Python Able to understand and write python scripts.

iText Able to manipulate PDFs using the iText library for Java.

Junit and Mockito Able to write unit tests for the functionality developed.

Able to create a mock service and use for testing.

JIRA Able to create, update, track work items.

Understand sprint board and backlog.

Toad Able to manage the databases using this tool.

Able to diagnose performance issues using this tool.
