Requirement For the Position of Sheet Metal @ Falcon Services

Main Objectives
Carries out various semi-skilled duties. Includes manufacturing sheet metal panels, fitting, assembling and repairing various types of equipment, vehicles and machinery as assigned. Performs a combination of tasks, such as carpentry, mechanical and electrical functions.
Main Duties
Carries out various sheet metal duties, including gas welding, fitting, cutting, adjusting, assembling, and repairing various kinds of tanks, vehicles, bodies, metal cupboards, trays, and patching them according to instructions.
Performs a combination of semi-skilled trades such as carpentry, mechanical and electrical tasks as necessary to carry out the work assigned and up to the standard required.
Changes and repair vehicles windows, handles, bumpers and any other related requirement to maintain the vehicle in good condition for company operation by using various simple tools and devices.
Maintains good housekeeping at workshop site both during and upon completion of work. Observes safety rules and regulations.
Maintains safekeeping of tools, kit allocated to him and obtains replacements for worn out damage tools.
Carries out other similar or related duties as assigned.
Comply with the Company and Airport authorities health, safety, and security regulations.
Work Contacts: Regular contacts with employee at slightly higher level when dealing with emergency.

Independence Of Operation
Works according to well defined procedures and welding standards. Complete work is checked at later stage whenever necessary.
Physical Effort
Approximately 90% of the work time is spent standing and walking and lifting various types of equipment up to 20 KGS while performing duties.
Work Environment
Approximately 90% of the work time is spent in non-air-conditioned covered environment and exposed o various undesirable elements, such as dirt, heat, noise, vibration, dust and oil.
Minimum Requirements
Completion of Secondary (12 years education) followed by 2 years vocational training.
4 years experience in similar position in a large industry.
Good knowledge of writing and speaking English.
