PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• include Setup the test bed as per the hardware configuration matrix for the release consisting of platforms, peripherals, add-on cards etc and then install required software like firmware, BIOS, OS etc. Perform validation and/or certification as per the Test Strategy / Plan.
• Provide assistance and support in characterization, root cause analysis and regression of the issues identified. Provide adequate technical details to the internal and external teams to substantiate the findings and support issue resolution.

PROFILE OF CANDIDATES

• The candidate should be good in Computer Architecture, with good exposure to Hardware, BIOS, and Firmware layers.
• Should have good understanding of Operating Systems (Windows or Linux or VMware ESXi), Storage and/or Networking subsystems.
• Should have good analytical skills to trouble shoot technical issues.
• Should have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Certifications like VCP, RHCE, MCSE would be an added advantage
  Prior exposure to OS Certification process in VMware, Microsoft or
• Red Hat OSes would be added advantage
• Should be an engineering graduate in EC/CS.
• Should have 1 to 2 years of relevant IT experience.
