The Employer
Our client is a leading asset management firm specialising in renewable energy investments. With offices in over 100 countries, they provide modern monitoring solutions and services such as performance analysis.
You are an energetic, self-motivated and exceptional Data Engineer to work on extraordinary enterprise products based on IOT and Big Data engineering. You will work with Data Engineers, and Integration Specialists with UI developers.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and implementing complex, scalable and extensible functionalities.
- Ensuring adequate architectural oversight and contributing in the continuous journey of tech-stack upgrade.
- Working with a scrum teams on a daily basis, using agile engineering practices; working individually on the tasks and as a team player; working closely with developers, TLs and architect.
- Analysing performance issues, identifying the cause and resolution.
The Profile
- You have a Degree/Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science or related field.
- You have at least 2 years of Experience in Java/Big Data Development.
- You have at least 1 year experience with object-oriented languages: Java, Scala; as well as designing and implementing APIs, including a deep understanding of spring framework.
- Having experience in Kafka, Apache Spark will be an added advantage
- Having experience in client side development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSON is a great plus.
- You have experience in MongoDB, Spring boot, SQL DB.
- You have effective problem identification and solution skills
- You have proven analytical and organisational ability
- You have strong co-ordination and interpersonal skills to handle complex projects.
- You possess the ability to lead all requirement gathering sessions with the Customer
- You have strong oral and written communication skills
