Job Description

Business Head - IT Services will be targeting the right clients, grow quality pipeline, win profitable deals and manage sales activities with the objective of creating mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships that create value. He/She will also represent individuals who can generate and build client relationships leading to qualified opportunity identification and involvement throughout the sales cycle often in absence of an existing client relationship or opportunity.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and drive a roadmap for the insurance business for the organization.
Acquire new customers and be responsible for the growth, penetration and customer satisfaction
Should have strong Insurance/BFSI industry domain knowledge
Should have both domestic as well as International selling experience.
Manage the a team of sales personnel's to achieve the desired sales quota for the year
Developing and managing relationships with potential clients, influencers and key stakeholders
Evaluating new opportunities to ensure resources focus on the best opportunities
Monitoring competitors and reviewing your employer's offering in light of competitors developments
Provide Leadership and strategic direction to the Company's overall sales program, inclusive of securing new customers, expanding business opportunities.
Design, implement and manage the Company's sales process, ranging from relation development and contract finalization.
Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
Define the sales strategy through a Strategic Account Plan to increase customer footprint for Client's offerings in each account. Build a process of strategic account mapping and C Level relationships using presales, consulting and the partner management teams.
Ability to build C Level relationships with CMOs, CIOs, CEOs via value based selling involving return on investment analysis and being able to build an abstraction between the technology itself and the core business benefits which are easily understandable by C Level executives at customers
Sound Business acumen around Forecasting and Pipeline Management. Maintain regular pipeline forecasts and provide business health checks to senior sales management.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and preferably an MBA from respected colleges
Minimum of 12-15 years of consultative sales experience including strategic selling, persuasion and negotiation
Strong domain knowledge of the insurance products and industry is important especially to be able to mine existing relationships in the industry as well as build new ones
Experience collaborating with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process
Demonstrated ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization
Strong communication skills to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages
Willingness and ability to travel within your specified geographic region
