Job Description

Docker Engg (VP) -> Person should have in-depth knowledge on Docker, should Engineered Docker & a knowledge on Kubernetes, recommended OpenShift. Besides, the person should know about Application Development patterns, should have knowledge of Java, C or similar languages. Again, this is an engineering position. So do NOT forward AppDev, DevOps or Admin profiles. 10+ experience a must

Skills Required:

• Relevant Experience with Docker, OCI standards, strong preference Docker engineering practices.
• Relevant experience with Docker/ Kubernetes ecosystem techniques (OCI deployments inclusive of seamless authentication, service discovery, datamovement, load balancing, traffic management and hosting, service mesh)
• In-Depth knowledge and experience of deploying applications on Kubernetes, with a strong preference for OpenShift
• Relevant and proven experience in building cloud native applications
• Strong knowledge of DevOps and Agile practices
• Very good communication skills.

Skills Desired:

• Understanding of Chaos Engineering Patterns, SRE techniques.
• Good knowledge of Microservice based architecture, industry standards
• Good understanding of Application configuration techniques such as current Docker configuration practices, Spring Boot/Cloud, etc.
• Hands on experience with Cloud Application Deployment patterns like Blue- Green, A/B routing, Canary, etc.
• Hands on experience with Cloud Application Scaling Patterns for both private and public cloud.
• Good understanding of State sharing between scalable cloud components (Kafka, dynamic distributed caching, etc)
• Good knowledge of various DB engines (DB2, etc) for persistence.
