Job Description

5 plus years hands-on experience deep diving Linux/ubuntu systems. Not devops/dcops

 
We are looking for a truly geek Linux system administrator for our ecosystem project. You will be responsible for effective installation/configuration and operation. Making every problem of the platform a problem of your own, and solving them accordingly.
 

• Person will be responsible for create our own ubuntu based distros.
• Person will be responsible to distribute own distro to remote ubuntu based hubs.
• Advanced Linux system administration knowledge with a grasp on the changing evolution of the Linux kernel, user space and open source ecosystem.
• Proficient experience in Python and shell scripting
• Experience with Ansible/puppet or other orchestration tools.
• Able to provide installation, troubleshooting required configuration of Linux/Unix based iOT hubs.
• Prepare new customized builds for each hub in Linux environment.

Technical Skills.

• 
  
• Hands on experience in creating and deploying custom ubuntu based distros.
• Experience in creating and release custom ubuntu ISO.
• Experience with Puppet/Chef/Ansible.
• Experience in python and BASH programming.
• Knowledge of home automation through ubuntu and IP based devices (like security camera, door sensors, proximity sensors, and other IP based devices)
• Knowledge of IOT will be a plus
