The Employer

Our client is a well established Logistics firm, with a solid clientele spread across industry giants in F&B, Consumer Electronics, Apparel, Luxury goods and many more.

The Job

You will be responsible for :

Planning & managing all aspects of import and export shipment and its operational status.
Knowing export benefits schemes and preparing necessary documentation pre and post shipment.
Liaising with insurance companies, customs, excise and other key parties to manage the overall functioning smoothly.
Ensuring seamless execution of export import transactions, by keeping close contact with Government agencies & departments and ensuring all paperwork is done well in advance.
Budgeting for the year and monitoring all reports to look out for ad hoc changes.

The Profile

You have a Masters in Supply Chain, Operations or related discipline and have at least 1 year experience ideally within Transport & Logistics industry.
You are keen on exploring the logistics space further and are open to challenges.
You possess excellent negotiation skills and have the ability to influence people at all levels, including superiors and senior stakeholders.
You are good at foreseeing operational risks and have a contingency plan at all times.
You pay strong attention to detail and work well in fast paced environments.
