Software Development Engineer II @ CSG International

About the role
As a Software Development Engineer II in Ascendon R&D, you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team developing solutions for either Ascendon or core Singleview. You will work collaboratively with other CSG delivery teams in Chicago, Bangalore, and Brisbane. You will leverage industry best practices and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, test automation, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment. As a successful candidate, you will meet the following criteria:

• Have a Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrate good programming ability. Experience with C# .NET is must .
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language, such as Shell or Python .
• Have at least 4 years of technical experience in solution design, product development, and/or product implementation.
• Have good experience using UNIX/LINUX environments to develop, deploy, and manage applications is preferred.
• Experience in any public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) is an added advantage.
• Experience in any code repository. e.g. : GIT, SVN etc.
• Experience in Golang is an added advantage.
• Open to work in DevOps mode if required.
• Have technical knowledge in software development, methodologies, and design. Experience in SAFe/Scrum/Kanban is preferred.
• Demonstrate effective communication as a member of a development team, ensuring understanding of both verbal and written material.
• Have good analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience gathering and analysing information for the development of effective solutions to problems or situations. Can solve complex problems quickly.
• Experience in telecom OSS/BSS domain is an added advantage.
• Be a self-motivated individual who works well in a team environment.
