Asset Protection Manager Responsibilities in Detail

• The asset protection managers have to ensure that assets of the company and their values are protected legally and physically
• They have to coordinate with the legal team of the company regarding contracts and ownership documents
• They have to arrange for security for physical assets of the company and do all that is within their power to decrease the depreciation of assets
• They can hire help from outside as well for protection of the assets
• They have to carefully look through all the contracts and other such documents of the company
• They have investigate claims by clients and even the employees regarding compensation of money, and try to sort them out amicably
• They have to hire staff who will play a part in protection and maintenance of the company assets
• They review the performance of all the staff of the company as they the most important asset of a company without whom the company cannot function
• They have to thoroughly research on the companies with who their company is about to do business. They have to do a background check, credit check, etc. or they can even hire private investigators
• The assets protection managers have to report to the senior management of the company on the status of each asset
