Networking - 5G/ Network Wireless/ RAN Company: Infosys Limited India Skill(s): 5G/ Network Wireless/ RAN/ SDN/ NFV/ 3GPP Experience Range: Mid Level Primary Location: Bangalore Location(s): Trivandrum Job Description Role Designation- CONSULTANT Responsibilities- Ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities in line with client needs and architectural requirements, Ensure continual knowledge management, Adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes Technical and Professional Requirements- Minimum 5 years of experience , In- depth understanding of the wireless network evolution either on the core or on the RAN side , Clear understanding of wireless network planning and design process, Ability to program/ develop using one of the programming language i.e. Java/ Python/ C++ , Understanding of relevant 3GPP specifications for wireless networks & 5G in specific , Experience in developing OSS/ BSS Systems utilizing 3GPP specifications, Good understanding of the requirements for 5G evolution , Understanding of latest developments in the space of SDN/ NFV and how it is leveraged in 5G network architecture, Understanding of Edge Computing & Orchestration, Understanding on NFV and vRAN, Experience in radio network planning and deployment, Exposure to 5G- PPP, xRAN, M- CORD initiatives.. Direct contribution to any of these is an added advantage, Research papers published on 5G or wireless evolution (or) use cases over 5G will also be an added advantage , Location of Posting is subject to business requirements only
