Description:
The Full Stack Software Developer will develop mobile apps for research and quality improvement, and provide full programming support for mobile app development.
Background in programming with graduate coursework in computer science and/ or related quantitative field will be required. Preference will be given for those who have experience in React, EXT JS framework, HTML5, Angular JS, and other modern programming and scripting languages (such asASP.Net, C#, JavaScript). The position will also provide support to explore and learn state-of-the art technologies. Minimum of 4 years of experience. People with experience less than 4 years need not apply.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement software programs on mobile platforms using state-of-the-art programming languages and development tools.
2. Utilize best available technologies, including but not limited to: C#, ASP.NET MVC and Web APIs. Developer will be highly familiar with JavaScript, React and Node.js technologies.
3. SQL database, MongoDB and other document stores experience is a must.
4. The candidate should exhibit solid understanding of web related protocols and standards, such as HTTP, SSL, REST and JSON.
5. Familiarity with agile development a plus. Seeking self-motivated individual looking to grow beyond existing skillset as part of a dynamic and supportive team.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Document user requirements
2. Document system design as directed
3. Participate in the development of System Lifecycle processes and documentation in support of research IT development.
4. Develop code as directed in accordance with generally accepted software development practices
5. Participate in system test and user acceptance testing planning and execution as directed.
6. Create and implement research databases as required.
7. Participate in enhancements to the delivery of technical support and other platform enhancements as required.
8. May provide assistance and training to other members of technology team.
9. Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements:
1. Education:
a. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
b. Masters Degree in computer science or related field preferred.
2. Experience:
a. Two to Five years programming experience, preferably in Mobile Development, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
b. Technology experience in Health Care or Health Care Research a plus.
3. Good communication skills.
