Job Description

Dear Candidate,
We're Hiring for Software Support Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Software Support Engineers(SSE) to field calls/Email/ServiceNow from internal customers who experiencing technical issues with business support software systems i.e. Oracle CPQ & SalesCloud, ServiceNow, PeopleSoft and other internally developed systems. They would assist customers in troubleshooting problems, diagnose issues, identift sources of the problem and offer solutions. They would also liaison with the 3rd party software partners to resolve the major issues.
  • Software Support Engineers can be involved in the creation of new software and work closely with software engineers and development teams to identify and resolve potential issues in the development stage(Testing). They analyze all aspects of the software and make suggestions throughout the development phase to help avoid issues in the final product.
  • As Software Support Engineers encounter new software issues, they typically document these issues and their solutions to help future efforts in the design and implementation of software products. They also generate technical reports focusing on customer complaints and resolutions. In addition, Software Support Engineers might make written recommendations to improve technical support tools and processes.
  • Software Support Engineers should be able to articulate the user/customer s requirement in documents.
  • Software Support Engineers should be able to make user manuals, video etc of the new functionalities got added in the existing systems and same to be communicated to the business users.
  • Software Support Engineers should be able to train the business users on the new/existing functionalities of the business systems
