Job Description
Job Summary
1. The ground staff are responsible for passenger service duties, which include the manning of check-in counters for departing passengers, as well as arrival and departure gates.
2. To ensure passenger comfort, the ground crew is responsible for all cabin services.
3. Passenger service agents are hired by airlines to attend to customers before, after, or between flights.
4. Answering questions and assisting passengers with various needs.
5. Taking reservations.
6. Issuing tickets.
Responsibilities and Duties
GROUND STAFF : -
- Checking passengers in for flights
- Re-routing or re-booking passengers whose flights have been cancelled or delayed
- Assisting disabled passengers or those travelling with young children
- Giving passengers up-to-date information on flights
- Assisting passengers with all enquiries, including lost or delayed baggage
CABIN CREW: -
- attending a pre-flight briefing, during which air cabin crew are assigned their working positions for the upcoming flight. The crew are informed of flight details, the schedule, the number of infants on board and if there are passengers with any special requirements, such as diabetic passengers or passengers in wheelchairs
- carrying out pre-flight duties, including checking the safety equipment and doing security checks, ensuring the aircraft is clean and tidy and that information in the seat pockets is up to date and all meals, drinks and stock are on board
- welcoming passengers on board and directing them to their seats
- informing passengers of the aircraft safety procedures and ensuring that all hand luggage is securely stored away
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Any Male or Female
- Age Between 18-34 for Boys & 18-28 for Girls
- Good Command over in English
- 12th or Graduation completed.
