Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer with experience in designing, developing and supporting database components.

The role involves continuous collaboration with partners, iterative understanding of requirements, following Fidelity best practices / methodologies, thorough understanding of the technology roadmap, advancement to development process and providing on-call production support on rotation basis.

The Skills that are Key to this role

Technical

• Oracle PL/SQL - Expertise in designing and developing PL/SQL code, Stored Procedures, Functions etc

• Strong Oracle SQL Skills
• Experience is performance fine tuning

• Unix/Linux Should be able to script using Shell and aware of basic Unix/Linux commands

• Working knowledge of Informatica
• Enterprise Scheduling Tools (like Control-M)
• Ability to understand the business criticality of various applications as they relate to complex business processes.
• Ability to handle incident bridge calls and crisis situations to mitigate incident impact.
• Experience working on Agile methodology
• Good data analysis skills
• Perform on call support and address issues on timely manner

• Excellent communication and written skill

• Strong desire to enhance technical and domain knowledge

• Must be flexible and comfortable with change

• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills

• Potential to multitask

• Exposure to AWS cloud knowledge

• Domain Knowledge on Financial Investment

Fidelity Pricing & Cash Management Services (FPCMS) provides accounting and investment management support services for Fidelity mutual funds and other retail and institutional investment products. These services include calculating and distributing NAVs, distribution rates and yields for a wide variety of investment products; preparing fund financial statements, dividend estimates and tax returns; monitoring delivery of fund trades to custodian banks; processing corporate actions; collecting securities income on behalf of the funds; reconciling, reporting and moving money in support of fund shareholder transactions; and managing fund liquidity.
