Job Description
The candidate should be able to understand the archohm design philosophy, and carry out the design process from conception to construction and completion to ensure consistent quality and no compromise on design
The Job Responsibilities will include :
- Understanding and reframing the design brief.
- Conceiving and conceptualizing ideas for the project.
- Conducting necessary surveys, on-site/client/project meetings and reviews.
- Carrying out various calculations, estimates, plans and reports with regards to the design project.
- Documenting on-site observations and reviews.
- Ensuring accuracy of complete working drawing sets and project research and write specifications.
- Handle preparation of bid documents and request for proposals.
- Plan and monitor the work of team members for on time completion within budget through stages of the project.
- To monitor and maintain Project costs/logs/status reports.
Candidate should be from Shillong and should have their own vehicle.

Required Candidate profile
- Ability to conceive out-of-the-box ideas for architecture across scales and typologies.
- To have a good understanding of construction methods and materials, standards, codes, contracts, bid documents and laws.
- Ability to express intent through basic sketching, proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarlity with Sketchup, Photoshop and Revit, MS Office.
- Excellent Written and Verbal communication- Presentation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to manage a team as well as work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to complete tasks meticulously with strong attention to detail
- Ability to represent Archohm with clients, stakeholders and the design fraternity.
