Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

The role of the AWS Cloud Solution Architect is detailed as follows:

• Define and develop cloud strategy for client s enterprise based on Industry, Business and IT requirements.

• Define future end-state architecture for client s enterprise

• Provide technical leadership to Solutions, Infrastructure and Security architects

• Map business applications and processes to cloud transformation requirements following 6R Methodology

• Design client s Cloud Infrastructure environments with a focus primarily on AWS along with multi-cloud solutons from Azure, Oracle, Google Cloud

• Design client s Cloud Security environments following Well-Architected Security Framework

• Provide leadership in infrastructure migration methodologies and techniques including mass application movements into multi-cloud infrastructure

• Perform cloud migration risk analysis and identify risks, impact and risk mitigitation plans

• Program Manage the design, implementation, and transition to cloud operations

• Required Experiences

• Define Cloud-ready Operations Model

• Perform Cloud Maturity Assessment of an enterprise and recommend solutions to cloud-ready digital enterprise

• Automate processes with tools and DevOps solutions

• Required Qualifications:

• 15 or more years of IT experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a cloud consultant

• Relevant industry professional level certifications from AWS, Azure, etc.

• Relevant process specific certifications like TOGAF, ITIL, etc.

• Exposure and working level knowledge of working with and interfacing to global delivery teams.
