Job Description
Technical Content Writer Cloud24x7 is looking for a creative storyteller to join our Global Cyber Security organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming concepts into words and have demonstrated experience developing high- performing, persuasive copy to attract and engage audiences. This position will write and publish content for Web pages, blogs, articles, forums and various documentation (User Guide, Product Manuals, Reports). Department: IT Team IT Team Project Location(s): Ahmedabad, India Ahmedabad, India Education: Engineer's Degree Responsibilities Write compelling copy for the web, but also a variety of other formats, as needed, such as blogs, brochures, powerpoint, word, videos, landing pages, infographics, case studies, product collateral, emails and more Develop long and short- form content for lead generation, product launches, inbound marketing, customer marketing, and other growth initiatives Researches and builds knowledge about products, services, technology, or concepts to be documented Meets with subject matter experts in order to ensure that specialized topics are appropriately addressed and discussed Works with sales and marketing colleagues to ensure that the finished documentation meets product requirements Revises, edits, or updates instructions, technical information, and frequently asked questions as necessary Utilize excellent editorial skills and partner with the design team to create on- brand, high- performing content Understand different language/ cultural styles that appeal to various regional markets Translate technical products/ features into business benefits Research competitors and keep abreast of market trends Skills/ Experience Bachelor s degree (English, Journalism, Marketing or related field) 1- 2 years of demonstrated marketing copywriting experience with a strong focus on Technical Writing (writing/ content samples required) Excellent writing abilities to address multiple audiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice Experience with web markup language and search engine optimization Diverse portfolio featuring a variety of media and formats: proven SEO web content, print/ digital ads, television, radio, blog posts, bylines and direct marketing, email, etc. Creative problem- solving skills, critical thinking and ability to articulate insights and ideas Experience with content management systems, such as Drupal or WordPress, preferred Effective tracking and task reporting skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent problem solving diagnostic skills Desirable Criteria Qualification Bachelor s Degree in English, Communications, or Information Technology Experience with Technical Content Writer for Information Security related Products and Services Attention to Detail; Multitasking; Ability to Work Under Pressure Experience with Australia, UK or US customers is highly desirableJob Classification
