Shopify Developer - Gurgaon - BigStep @ BigStep Technologies

Job Description

We are looking for someone with 3-6 years of experience in Shopify Apps development, along with good proficiency in responsive HTML/ CSS and in MySQL/ database. Knowledge of other e-commerce platforms like Magento and WooCommerce will be an added advantage.

**Responsibilities**

- Coding and Development. The desired candidate will be responsible for developing next-generation web applications & software products

- Analyzing requirements, problems and solving them with the best solution

- Producing high-quality code without much supervision and on-time delivery

- Working in a cross-functional team, collaborating with peers during the entire SDLC

- Coordinating with the design team and develop the e-commerce functionality

- Working on issue debugging and troubleshooting

- Responsible for theme installation and customization of Shopify plus store development and should be able to take application setup requirements

**Technical Skills**

- Hands-on experience in installing & customizing newShopifytheme

- PHP, MySQL, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript/ECMA Script, jQuery, AJAX
- Experience in Node.js, React, Next.js, GraphQL, Apollo, Polaris, Title

- Good knowledge of OOPS concepts, Web Development Concepts, MVC, REST API development and SCSS

- Good understanding of Products, Discounts, Up-sell, Shopify APIs, etc.

- Good knowledge of Shopify Liquid template language

- Knowledge in Big Commerce

- Thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues

- Understanding of W3C web standards/semantics and accessibility guidelines

- Good understanding of Magento development including creating custom modules, extending existing functionality, and working with its API

- Experience in integrations on third-party APIs and Plugins

- Strong coding skills

**Non-Technical Skills**

- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

- Must be dedicated to delivering high-quality work and adhering to timelines

- Must be a good team player, good learner and a self-starter

- Must have the ability to work independently
- Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills
