Job Location :- Mumbai
Key Responsibility :-
- Develops and maintains reusable and scalable test automation frameworks on different application platforms like API, Database, Browser, Mobile and Desktop.
- Researching and staying up to date on latest tools, technologies, emerging trends with respect to Test Automation, Software Quality Engineering, Continuous Integration and Delivery
- Conducts POC and R&D on new tools/technologies, assessment on their fitment and provide recommendations.
- Plays advisory role for teams seeking to implement test automation solutions
- Build partnership across the enterprise, ensuring the best adoption of Testing COE offerings.
- Resolve tools and framework related challenges
- Conducts knowledge sharing sessions on Testing COE offered tools and frameworks.
- Improvise test automation processes and help define best practices while providing reusable and scalable test automation solutions
- Hosts periodic meetings with engineering teams to socialize on COE offerings.
- Communicate progress to the senior leadership on a regular basis.
Required Candidate profile
- 8-12 years' experience working as an Automation Architect in a large financial service organization or major consulting organization
- 2-3 years of experience of leading large-scale QA programs. Experience in collaborating effectively across a variety of IT and business groups, across regions, roles, and able to interact effectively with all levels
- Must have experience on Test Automation tools and frameworks Evaluations, POC and R&D.
- Proven record of execution of QA strategy and unification of QA processes across organization
- Must have hands-on experience with automation using Java.
- Good to have hand on experience on JavaScript, C#/.NET etc.
- Working knowledge of any Relational Database and DB Queries.
- Exposure and experience working with varied technologies like .NET, Angular, WPF, Mainframe etc.
- Must have working knowledge of DevOps Principles and Practices (CI, CD, Continuous Testing, etc.).
- Working knowledge of tool and technologies like TeamCity, Jenkins, GIT, JIRA, ALM
- Well versed with approaches like BDD, Keyword Driven and Data Driven test automation.
- Good to have understanding of model based testing.
- Understanding of Agile/Waterfall development process and is comfortable diving into the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable solutions
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Experience in presenting to diverse audiences and conducting education and training.
- Development background is helpful
