Design & development / test strategy & automation for a front-office application portfolio, ensuring smooth, timely, bug-free releases.

Functional area Risk & PL valuation and reporting.

The job requires solving technology problems design and develop complex features, integrate systems, automate tests at scale while ensuring comprehensive coverage, system performance scaling, refactoring for extensibility etc. It involves engagement with stakeholders traders, middle office, quantitative analysts, compliance, risk managers etc. - to understand business problems, and building pieces of the solution with rest of the team.

Responsibilities

1) Either of the following:

- Design, develop, test and deliver application functionality

- Design and develop automated testing suite

2) Work closely with the team to solve technology problems and deliver timely, robust and optimal solutions

3) Ensure sustained, smooth production operation

Requirements

• Education: B.E. / B. Tech. / M.S. / M. Tech. with good academic scores from top-tier colleges/universities

• Certifications If Any: NA

• Experience Range: 2 to 4 years

• Mandatory skills

• Strong hands-on experience in one or more of the following:

• Test automation and scripting

• UI / Javascript programming

• Python / Java programming

• Strong engineering problem-solving skills analytical ability, detail orientation, programming acumen (- optimal use of language constructs, extensible design, clean code)

• Ability to analyze the domain quickly, and grasp and interpret data

• Self-starter, with a sense of ownership

• Ability to deliver to high standards without constant oversight

• Strong drive to learn, and flexibility to work on multiple technologies

• Ability to work under tight deadlines

• Desired skills

• Understanding of investment banking domain and equity / derivatives trading

• Experience on complex, multi-tiered enterprise applications
