Job Title-Senior Cloud Developer
Areas of responsibility and tasks
- As a Senior Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for design, development, implementation and support of highly scalable, distributed solutions in C#, Javascript, .Net Core, Azure and React while leveraging Azure services
- Develop cloud strategy and coordinating the adaption process
- Provide software development insights with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns and best practices.
- Regularly evaluate cloud applications and services for optimizations and upgrade
- Work with IT security to monitor and ensure security and privacy of cloud applications and data.
- Develop technical specifications based on functional requirements
- Develop components of the technical solution proposal.
- Agile Architecture principles and DevOps
Competencies
- Must have good knowledge of .NET layered server architecture and stronghold on MVC.
- Excellent knowledge of application architecture, techniques, design patterns and strategies
- Good knowledge of Networking and Cloud technologies preferably Azure
- High level understanding of key cloud security concepts like Active Directory, Oauth etc.
- Experience in developing solutions using offerings like WebApps, Database service, Datalakes, IOT Hubs etc.
- Hands on automation scripting skills (preferably development of Azure ARM templates and Kudu scripts)
- Experience with agile process, DevOps and Version control systems like Jira, GIT, TFS, Azure DevOps, Teamcity etc
- Experience developing technical requirements based on business imperatives
- Demonstrated project experience with regard to estimates, planning and deliverables
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of Software Development experience with a background in Computer Science (B.Tech./M.Tech. in CS or equivalent)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in designing and developing IT cloud solutions using .Net and Frontend technologies like React/Angular.
- Candidate must be open-minded and be able to understand complexity of tasks and project deliveries.
- Candidate can speak, read and write English effortlessly.
- Must be able to work with team members and under minimal supervision
- Experience of working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
