Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:- Works closely with teams in India as well as with personnel across the globe in different time zones in departments like Sales, Product, Dev, Support and QA etc.
- Prepares client scenarios and demos of software system.
- Assist in organizing requirement gathering workshops.
- Understand client requirements and write up specs
- Works with Product, Dev and QA to make sure quality product or business solution is delivered.
- Assists in implementation cycles and end users' training.
- Provide Go-live and post Go-live support.
- Support clients and fine tunes their operations continuously after go-live.
- Suggest best practices/product solutions to optimize business processes.
Experience and Expertise:
5-8 years' experience in a Business Analysis role Preferably in a product software company dealing with business applications in multi commodity sphere.
Must have first-hand experience of requirement gathering, scenario building, writing functional specs,
test cases, documenting As-Is and To-Be processes, product demonstrations and workshops etc.
Functional knowledge of commodities, supply chain, or risk management, and technical knowledge of
systems integration involving large ERP packages (SAP, Oracle, etc.), or banking software (like Finacle)
would be added advantages.
Skills Set:
Proactive with thoroughness and attention to detail in communication, documentation etc. with
zero assumption attitude.
Strong analytical thinking with ability to grasp customer requirements, conceptualize solutions
and present ideas.
Great command on PowerPoint, Excel.
Preferably a techno-functional bent of mind.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare and eventually deliver presentations to audiences, demonstrating knowledge of domain and technology.
