Job Description :
The expectations for the position are to have a high exposure to traditional voice, data and IP Telephony technologies, as well as knowledge and experience with a converged environment. The role must display outstanding and consistent technical skills in areas of VOIP, TCP/IP Internetworking, TDM, and SIP Trunking within primarily, an Avaya infrastructure.
- Provide installation, support, and steady-state maintenance of the telecommunications infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to, the Avaya phone systems (5.x, 6.x), voicemail systems and transmission facilities internal and external.
- Support the telecom infrastructure plan for the expansion and enhancement of current ACD, IVR, CMS, AES, CTI, VoIP, WFM, SM, SBC and CM across the organization.
- Support the planning and programming of network regions, UDP, trunk groups, hunt groups, vectors, VDNs, station/agent extensions, configure DS1's, in the PBX.Support agent/call center administration, dictionary, data synchronization, general maintenance and base load upgrades in CMS. Support the installation and troubleshooting of SBCs, SMGR, SM, CM, AES, AEP, CMS, Media Gateways, PN circuit packs/modules, and phones.Support the installation and troubleshooting of Avaya applications: CMS Supervisor, One-X Agent/Communicator, CTI middleware, call/screen recording applications, and other vendor softphones.
- Support the requests for new telecommunications service, determine methodology for installing telecom services.Determine requirements for moderate equipment modifications.
- Support the administration of global dial plans. Balance number conservation with need for future buildouts.
- Support carrier circuit configurations, implementations and maintenance at various US and international locations.
- Coordinate and manage replication & backups for multiple telephony infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize server performance as well as document server and networking equipment.
- Work with vendors to troubleshoot and evaluate products.
- Discover, identify and solve problems that develop in telecom systems. Fix issues and/or work with vendors as appropriate. Install test equipment and systems to assist in fault isolation.
- Support the integrity of telecom hardware and software to ensure a continuous, smooth and seamless operating environment.
- Provide excellent, timely customer service to clients and staff for installations, moves and planning of telecom service.
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, staff, member stations, service providers, and others in the field.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications:
1.Previous and proven experience in IT telecom in an internal/external telecom context including but not limited to:telephony support, design, planning and execution.2.Previous experience with deployments and managing all aspects of telecom equipment including but not limited to Avaya ACD, PBX, TDM, VoIP, SIP, ISDN, DNIS, ANI
3.In depth knowledge of telephony applications and components, including switches, peripherals circuitry and routing.
4.Recent experiences working with carriers negotiating, deploying, and maintaining SIP, T1/T3 and OCx connectivity.
5.Experience with Verint call/screen recording.
6.Ability to support the transition of legacy digital T-1's to SIPservices
7.Experienced with monitoring systems and supporting telecom hardware and software.8.Advanced knowledge and proven ability to work with telephony and network cabling topologies, cross-connects and color-coding.
9.Experience working with and dealing with 3rdparty data centers and support.
10.Advanced understanding of network technology and usage.
11.8 years + telecommunications experience working with multiple systems and networks
12.8 years + with voice systems - Enterprise telephony, call routing, voice adjuncts & contact center operations.
13.8 years + experience with voice recording systems and associated applications
14.3 years + managing customer support in a critical environment solving production issues.

Preferred Qualifications:
1.BS/MS CS, EE, CIS or equivalent experience
2.8-10 years experience in global telecom.
3.Telecom experience within IT Operations in a global Contact Center environment
4.Experience in managing intermediate to large networks in a corporate environment
5.Cross platform experience data infrastructure. Knowledge of Network topology (layer 1&2), QoS, routing, switching and converged integrated systems
6.Avaya certifications
7.Verint experience in either recording or WFM/WFO systems
