Job Description

Job Profile: Trademark Agent

Location: Gurugram

Education:Company Secretary (CS) / LL.B Graduate

Mandatory Requirement:Trademark Agent Certificate as issued by TM Office

Job Responsibilities:

Researching existing trademarks so as to advise on availability;
Drawing up contracts & overseeing the trademark registration process;
Managing & protecting intellectual property rights once trademarks have been registered;
Conducting opposition searches, TM searches, etc;
Drafting of oppositions, counter-claims, evidences, etc;
Taking appropriate action if client's trademark rights are broken;
Trademark renewals;
Prepare and record ownership documents and licenses related to trademarks.
