Job Description

Technical Skills:

• Should have 5+ years of experience in cloud operations field and proven experience in managing a team
• Demonstrated experience in deploying and maintaining large scale cloud environments
• Hands on experience in AWS /Azure
• Experience with containerization / orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Experience with build and configuration management tools such as Ansible etc
• Understanding of multiple OS (Windows/Linux/Unix) and open source technologies
• Strong knowledge in DevOps methodology, CI/CD tools

Leadership Skills:

• Experience in leading a team, setting priorities and driving tasks to completion
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to attract talent and lead the team through coaching and mentoring
• Sharp problem solving and analytical skills
• Proven experience in influencing and facilitating key discussions

Required Candidate profile

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading and managing the cloud operations team in a collaborative, agile environment, providing technical leadership and guidance
• Oversee and manage end to end cloud and infrastructure operations (including network and security operations)
• Advocate and ensure the best cloud practices are implemented
• Lead and coordinate the architecture reviews with the application development and operations teams
• Continuously monitor and build the productivity and performance of the team
• Responsible to resolve any conflicts/impediments that may impact the team's productivity
• Work closely with key stakeholders to communicate the cloud operations road map, identify key challenges associated with it and drive mitigation measures to address the pain points
• Establish and manage change control processes
• Report the progress and key metrics to senior leadership team
• Identify opportunities to automate or streamline current processes
• Accountable for managing project timelines and workloads
• Oversee and coordinate compliance audits and reporting
