Job Description
Microsoft Operations / Support (pune)- (Req No.64822) - J42460a
Essential:
Good oral and written communication skills
Should have worked in Support/ Monitoring function
Technically sound and having good experience on IT
Hands on work experience work experience on Microsoft technologies (Windows File server, Exchange, Active Directory, patch management, SCCM etc.)
Hands on work experience of Windows OS deployments
Hands on work experience on Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualisation.
Routine Day to day Process Documentation
Provide timely resolution to service issues raised by users
Regular patching, upgrade and other maintenance activities
Knowledge of Hardware, Raid technology, Storage, Back-up etc...
Desirable:
Hands on work experience of Linux OS deployments.
Good understanding of TCP/IP & IP addressing concepts
MS Exchange, Windows certifications are desirable
Manage and maintain Microsoft technologies (Windows file server, Exchange, Active Directory, patch management, SCCM etc.)
Manage and maintain Virtual servers using Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualisation.
Understand new functional/ business requirements and implement changes
System log Monitoring and Reporting Daily, Weekly and Monthly
Regular vulnerability and patch management, upgrade and other maintenance activities required to maintain servers availability 24 X 7 X 365
Manage and maintain backup servers of Veritas, HP Data Protector, Commvault
Interact with vendors for hardware / software related issues
Participate and conduct DR exercises to ensure business continuity
