Position: ExecutiveAssistant
Reports to: Regional Director / Operations Manager
Position Summary
Administrative Assistant's primary responsibility is to be part of the administrative support system of the Regional Director's Office.
Principal duties and responsibilities
To provide administrative support to the Regional Director and Operations Manager to coordinate activities related to: calendar, travel, expenses, program events, visitor management, reception, basic support for HR e.g. leave records, form filling, outreach, employee engagement etc.
Access and enter authorized information updates
Accurately maintain grant files and records as defined by Foundation guidelines
In rotation be the point contact person for all outside communication
Skills, experience and knowledge
A bachelor's degree or equivalent.
5 - 8 years' experience working in administrative related support capacity.
Strong communications skills, ability to function in the work from home scenario.
Strong proficiency with the use of software platforms and high degree of comfort with multiple technology applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and databases.
Competencies
Diversity of experience working with a range of stakeholders, which could include government, multi-lateral institutions, think tanks / universities, consultancy firms, civil society, NGOs, networks and the private sector
