Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION :Responsibilities:
- Will oversee design, development, test and maintenance of a large-scale optical transport product development utilizing the latest technologies
- Ownership and responsibility for all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with product marketing, engineering, and testing teams, with Agile process and methodology.
- Be responsible for large software deliverables, working cross-functionally tensure software delivering on time, within budget, and with high quality.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Graduate Engineer (BE/BTech) in Comp Sc., Electronics, Electrical or Telecommunications
- Minimum of 15 years of Telecom product development experience out of which at least 5+ years management leadership experience
- Hands on working and most recent experience of telecom R&D product development for carrier grade telctier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 customers and new age data-center customers
- Engineering leadership as a manager in successfully building Layer 0/1 products tlarge tier-1 telecom service providers and having led a team of at least 50 staff comprising of systems engineers, architects, module leaders and MTS.
- Hands on working experience and knowledge of Optical Transport/Ethernet/IP networks technologies viz. DWDM, OTN, ROADM, FlexiGrid
- Knowledge of Network Management interfaces. e. g. Netconf/YANG, SNMP, SOAP, REST, OSI, TL1, CLI
- Understand full lifecycle of product development especially in Agile software development methodology all the way from Planning, Requirements, SE, Dev, ST and product sustaining
- Will have good understanding of Software-Hardware and platforms integration

- Working experience and knowledge of Telcand MSback office operations and systems
