Job Description HR Senior Manager

  • Leverages knowledge in profession by focusing on regional, global and/or cross-functional application, adding greater value to Unisys and its clients by providing assistance and guidance to line management on a broad range of human resource policies, programs, and practices.
  • The services provided may include COE area expertise or multiple areas of human resources, including employment, education/training, employee development, communications, compensation, benefits, record administration, employee or labor relations, affirmative action, organization or resource planning or other services.
  • Provides interpretation and counsel to external/internal clients regarding policies, programs, and practices.
  • Researches issues and develops recommendations to resolve people issues.
  • Develops new policies, practices and programs to meet customer needs. For COE positions, delivers, manages, markets, customizes and helps develop the solutions, practices and processes within a HR program/process (s) to meet business requirements.
  • Ability to positively address human capital issues. Is a subject matter expert in his/her area of focus. Leads medium to large scale complex projects, project teams and/or initiatives to address client business needs in support of an HR program/process (s).
  • Able to solve problems independently; integrates solutions across areas of expertise, seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Orchestrates client activities to ensure that all HR-related commitments are kept; is the client s single point of contact and accountability. Key Responsibilities Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Key Responsibilities

  • Typically 10 years of progressively responsible experience
  • Undergraduate college degree or equivalent is required
  • Professional certification and/or Master s Degree are desirable.
  • Demonstrates depth of experience and has led several successful medium to large scale projects within a business unit, region or COE
  • Demonstrates strong coaching, facilitation and consulting skills with a proven track record or being able to influence at all levels and especially the executive level.
  • Exposure to people related perspective and industry practices
