Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform all measurements and quantity assessments in line with the methods of measurement stated within the Subcontract documents.
- Complete material take-off to the full extent possible from Drawings.
- Check and verify re-measurement prepared by subcontractor, either in terms of quantity and / or in terms of measurement convention taken and / or in terms of contractual entitlement.
- Study all quantum justifications given by subcontractor for any work order, variation request, offers and the like.
- Keep all Measurement files adequately archive and stored for an easy and efficient retrieval.
- Participate in meeting regarding reimbursable items with Subcontractor.
- Compile Final Bill of Quantities and report for Close Out analysis.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor of Science (+) / B.Eng. (+)
- Knowledge of languages: English, Russian (preferably)
- Years of working experience: 3 (+)
- Methodical way of thinking;
- Good knowledge of construction;
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills;
- The ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily;
- Excellent knowledge of estimating software, CAD and all Microsoft Office Suite applications.
