Job Responsibilities:
Owns technological solutions:
Does due diligence as far as analysis and design of the project we undertake.
Creating Design Documents (SAD - System Architecture Design, HLD - High Level Design, ISD - Integration Specification Document).
automation of repetitive tasks.
Provide / assess design and coding standards.
Owns solutions to support CeX business strategy and service delivery, including:
Jira: manages work flows and set up for new projects.
Security aspect of the projects and products.
Reporting, internal and to stakeholders.
Contributing to the development of CeX:
Leads the implementation and support of technological solutions.
Ensures team members follow processes and proposes process improvements where necessary.
Obtains stakeholders feedback, acts on it, and closes the communication loop.
Work on Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD).
Travel abroad for project meetings if required.
Serves as technical lead on projects.
Required Skills:
Excellent knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, XML.
Excellent knowledge of Web Services (SOAP and REST services).
Excellent knowledge of PHP MVC architecture and OOPS.
Excellent knowledge of at least 1 Javascript Frameworks - Vue.js / AngularJS / React.js
Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
Proficient understanding of tools such as Git, Jira, Jenkins, repositories, publishing.
Desirable Skills:
Vue.js framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js is an added advantage.
SOLR, AWS / Cloud computing
Retail domain / working experience with payment gateways
