Job Description

Title: Audio Dev User Space Eng - II
Responsibilities :
Linux audio HAL/framework/drivers development.
Design and implementation of Linux audio software.
Customer requirements decomposition, solution implementation, and customer support.
Requirements :
Good understanding of Linux fundamentals, Audio fundamentals, Pulseaudio, HALs.
The basic knowledge of Android, Tizen or any other equivalent OS.
Good understanding of MediaPlayer, MediaRecorder, Audio/Video encode and decode.
Good understanding audio driver, ALSA.
Strong C/C++ programming skills.
Good debugging skills across SW layers.
Bachelor's Degree(or above) in Engineering, Communications, Computer Science, etc.
Title: Audio Dev Drivers Eng - II
Responsibilities :
Linux/RTOS device drivers development.
Design and implementation of Linux/RTOS drivers.
Being able to assimilate the requirements/specifications from HW documents (Schematics, HW programming guides),
Adding audio devices (DACs, ADCs, Speaker Amps e.t.c) and developing resp. audio drivers.
Requirements :
Good understanding of Linux/RTOS fundamentals, Audio fundamentals.
Good understanding of Audio DACs/ADCs.
Good understanding of Audio HW interfaces like I2S, SPI, Slimbus, Soundwire e.t.c.
Good understanding audio driver, ALSA/ASOC framework.
Strong C/C++ programming skills.
Hands-on debugging on HW using JTAG, using oscilloscope and probe HW points.
Bachelor's Degree(or above) in Engineering, Communications, Computer Science, etc.
