Job Description

To build, operate, enhance and optimize the Mac OS support platformfor Vodafone across all supported markets

  • Infrastructure Monitoring
  • Managing network parameters to enable access for new client networks
  • Configurations/Changes based on the requirement.
  • Provides L2-L4 support to enable end users
  • Create knowledgebase, manuals and workinstructions for installation, support and troubleshooting to be consumed by the central service desk, floor support, users, etc.
  • End user specialist for MacOS
  • VIP user support
  • Drives end-user focused improvements
  • Identify issues and optimizethe Workplace Client related processes and technologies
  • Setup task teams to mitigate service issues or to resolve service escalations
  • Management of Vodafone Owned Client Hardware devices
  • High Level Designs, Low Level Designs, User Manuals, Operations Manuals, input to end user communications, Service Desk Instructions and Training, Policies, etc.
  • Ensure compliance to the VF security policies

  • Provide Client Software Deployment platform to integrated Local Markets
  • Provide automated client build process to integrated Local Markets
  • Provide and implement solution for end users issues and problems
  • SLA, KPI, Incident, Problem reporting
  • Design, test and deliver the operations for Workplace Client
  • Deliver the Global Hardware Catalogue for Mac devices. Create roadmap for integration of new generations

  • Mac devices are being used within Vodafone for projects and programs that are crucial for VFs long term strategy e.g. Big Data, UX, etc.
  • This service would provide a support framework to ensure that these critical programs are not impacting due to lack of a comprehensive support model.
  • Various suppliers for devices, JAMF support, AppleSupport, Local Markets
  • Establish and Lead the team responsible for Mac Support
  • Devise goals and strategy, long term solutions

  • Drive innovations and automation
  • Identify and own CSIs

Essential:

  • BE/MCA/A+/CompTIA/Apple Certified/JAMF certified

Desired:

  • MCSE/MCSA
