Greetings for the Day!We are having openings for NOC L2 Engineer- Externetworks-Hitech City - Madhapur Hyderabad.
Profile: NOC L2 Engineer- Network Support Engineer
Location: Hitech City, Madhapur Hyderabad.
Start Date: Immediate or ASAP
Shift timings: 24*7 Rotational Shift
Number of openings: Multiple with experience 3 to 5years.
Job Description:
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, VPN, QoS)
Ability to implement network deployment change requests and any potential related L2/L3 router changes.
Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP.
Knowledge in Wireless standards, Radios, RSSI, Noise, SNR, Interference, User level troubleshooting in wireless environment.
Work on other wireless technology like Ruckus, Meraki, Aruba/HP added advantage and flexible to work on any wireless technology
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including IOS Upgrades, service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
Troubleshoot issues related performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Troubleshoot issues related system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
Optimize network performance by supervising performance, addressing network problems and breakdowns and partnering with various internal teams to optimize the network.
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of IT infrastructure
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Requirements
Proven hands-on network engineering experience
Must have CCNP or higher
Wireless, Security and MCSE Trained/Certified - Optional and valued
Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
Deep Understanding of Wireless networks
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
Technology degree in Computer Science or a related subject
Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
Good understanding of ITIL and service management principals
