Job Description

Role :- Product Manager / Technical Manager -PHP

Experienced: - 8 - 15 Years

Location: - Malad, Mumbai

*** Immediate preferred or candidates who can join in 2 weeks max.

The Role:-

Working closely with the technical and sales teams, he/she will be responsible for a successful product roadmap and presales activating for the product. This success will be measured primarily by the following:

Key Responsibilities:

Gather market intelligence to assess market competition by comparing the Saffron Square with the competitors' products.
Recommend the scope by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas.
Review the product architecture and technology platform. Define, discuss and implement desired architectural changes to enhance Saffron Square.
Participate in presales activities, lead product demonstrations with the new customers, manage and educate stakeholders on the new functionalities and product workflow.
Manage and Lead the Product Team in design, development. Testing, deployment and support activities.

Desired Profile:

8+ years of IT experience in PHP and related web technologies.
Must be an excellent communicator.
Excellent understanding of various PHP frameworks; compatibility and performance impacts; advantages and limitations. Ability to review the technologies and find the best fit for the product.
At least one success story of developing and managing a product from scratch.
Should have worked with/managed at least one B2B application/product and made it a commercial success.
Desired to have good understanding of various technologies and platforms like PHP 7.x, YII2, Node.js, React.js, NoSQL Database, API Gateways, Middleware platforms, Cloud PaaS and DevOps.
Understanding of Performance Tuning and Optimization Techniques
Excellent understanding of server side configuration, application and database security encryption, session management and tokenization.
Good to have understanding of containers, orchestration and devops techniques.
Excellent understanding of application and web servers. Performance and Load management.
Understanding of DR, Code Repository and automating the Code Review.
Sound teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks
Responsible for defining and documentingarchitecturecapturing and documenting non-functional (architectural) requirements and defining technical solutions.
Agile development and estimation experience.
