The role Project Manager - Office Fit- out Reporting to the head office fit- out and be responsible for the delivery of all aspects including planning, budgeting, procurement and tendering, design, construction, quality and risk, occupancy and close- out of one or more office fit- out projects. This role is based in Chennai, India. Your responsibilities will include: Directing and managing project delivery team (design, procurement and site) performance of delegated responsibilities and achieve project goals. Interfacing directly with clients to define project requirements, prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements and supply chain, cost estimate and budget, project schedule, quality and HSE control and risk identification. Implementing an appropriate and effective project management framework for corporate interior fit- out projects. Managing project cost plan including risk allowance. Monitoring and controlling changes/ variations. Identifying project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans and implement action plans to mitigate project risks. Establishing and preparing formal reporting arrangements on project progress for the client and company. Supervising the monitoring and reporting of the contractors progress against the expectations of their contracts from all perspectives. Coordinating and fostering teamwork between all project stakeholders. The requirements Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include: Minimum of 7- 10 years project management experience in the commercial fit- out industry. Relevant experience of managing corporate/ workplace interior fit- out projects. Knowledge of individual trades and sub- contractors relevant to interior fit- out projects. Technical- savvy and have experience in successfully adopting digital and technology initiatives. Ability to work in a fast paced environment without compromising on quality and customer satisfaction. Ability to work well under pressure and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good client relationship management and team management skills. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture or interior design. Minimum qualification is having a degree or diploma in in project management/ construction management or a related discipline. With professional memberships. Mace is an equal opportunity employer.
