Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Building and evolving application systems including, design, coding, testing, debugging and writing appropriate documentation.
- Develop new products/features for web and mobile that adhere to best practices, is easy to understand and are efficient
- Architect and design the technical solution and implement the solution.
- Acts as a technologist proposing innovative techniques, tools and ideas that consider the impact across multiple environments and technologies.
- Implementing API and integration solutions using standard protocols such as REST, SOAP and others.
- Designing, developing and enhancing solutions in polyglot environment using multiple technology stacks and frameworks (Java, C#.NET, SQL, JavaScript, HTML5 and AngularJS)
- Collaborate with fellow Engineers, and Product Owners to design solutions that provide business value and ensure technical excellence in platform performance, autonomy, resilience, scalability, and security.
- Actively promote agile principles such as continuous delivery, attention to technical excellence, and face-to-face communication between individuals.
- Design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of professional experience
- Bachelor's degree, Computer Science related preferred
- Experience working in multiple technical environments and technologies
- Agile methodology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong sense of ownership, bias for action, urgency and drive
- Ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization, including business users, IT teams, IT leadership, Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
- Experience with modern programming languages like Java, PHP, C#.NET, etc.
- Experience with building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc.
- Certification in Java or .NET programming
- At least one Certification in CRM applications like Oracle Service Cloud, Sales Force, Microsoft Dynamics.
- Hands-on experience working with technologies like Kafka, Docker
- Experience with build automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc.
