Job Description

1.Candidate should be able to work on assignments with the least guidance

2. Responsible for robust and efficient implementation

3. Suggest technical solutions for short and long term

4. Participate and lead software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical

Requirements.

5. Collaborate with team members and across groups to prepare technical specifications.

6. Design and develop high-quality code.

7. Test, debug, analyze and fix application problems/issues.

8. Work closely with stakeholders to fix issues in a timely fashion.

9. Participate in code reviews in accordance with program specifications and coding standards,

practices and conventions, new designs, changes and enhancements.

10. Mentor less-skilled employees

11. Interact with stakeholders (internal and external) to support product releases and/or resolve

program problems.

12. Research and remain informed of new technology and development tools

Required Candidate profile

1.Candidate must have a Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering (B.tech or MCA)

2. Candidate must have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in HTML5, XHTML and CSS

3. Candidate must have a good working knowledge of Javascript and Jquery

4. Good knowledge of PHP language

5. Wordpress is must

6. Good to have Moodle knowledge

7. Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices is plus

8. Experience building user interfaces for websites or web applications

9. Candidate should have experience in designing and developing responsive design websites 10. Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.

11. Ability to understand CSS changes to have consistent style across platforms and browsers 12. Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages

13. Good understanding and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs.

14. Knowledge of Drupal or Magento is a plus

15. Knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CakePHP or CodeIgniter
