Job Description: BIOVIA Application Developer/Support Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled BIOVIA Application Developer and Support Specialist with strong experience in endtoend troubleshooting and support of BIOVIA applications. The ideal candidate should have handson expertise across multiple BIOVIA modules and be comfortable working within ITSM processes in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide endtoend application support and troubleshooting for BIOVIA applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to BIOVIA Compose, BIOVIA Capture, CISPro, and Configuration Manager.
  • Support and manage Pipeline Pilot workflows, including performing enhancements or changes using scripts as required.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to analyze incidents, root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
  • Handle incidents, service requests, changes, and problem management activities in line with ITSM processes.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and maintain high service quality.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and technical configurations.
  • Support application upgrades, configurations, and minor enhancements.
  • Communicate effectively with business users and stakeholders regarding application issues and resolutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong handson experience with BIOVIA applications, including:
    • BIOVIA Compose
    • BIOVIA Capture
    • BIOVIA CISPro
    • Configuration Manager
  • Very good knowledge of Pipeline Pilot, with the ability to:
    • Understand existing protocols
    • Perform minor to moderate changes using scripting
    • Develop new protocols if required
  • Experience in programming languages like JavaScript, jQuery and Python.
  • Proven experience in endtoend application troubleshooting and operational support.
  • Familiarity with ITSM frameworks (Incident, Problem, Change, and Request management).
  • Experience working with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Good communication skills to interact with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting BIOVIA in a regulated or enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of LIMS or scientific data management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Exposure to application upgrades, patches, and release management.
