Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter QA Test Lead to lead testing efforts for Siemens Teamcenter PLM applications. The role involves managing end-to-end QA activities, leading a testing team, and ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of Teamcenter implementations and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the QA team for Teamcenter implementation and support projects
  • Define and execute test strategy, test plans, and test cases for Teamcenter modules
  • Validate functionalities across Teamcenter modules such as:
    • BOM Management
    • Change Management
    • Workflow
    • Document Management
    • Configuration Management
  • Coordinate functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders
  • Identify test scenarios based on business processes and system configurations
  • Manage defect lifecycle using tools like JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps
  • Ensure test coverage, quality standards, and timely delivery
  • Support data migration and validation testing for Teamcenter upgrades/rollouts
  • Prepare test reports, QA metrics, and dashboards
  • Drive continuous QA process improvements and automation adoption

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Teamcenter PLM testing
  • Good understanding of Teamcenter architecture and modules
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies (STLC, SDLC)
  • Experience in manual and automation testing approaches
  • Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools
  • Strong knowledge of integration testing (Teamcenter with ERP systems like SAP)
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
  • Leadership experience handling QA teams (510 members or more)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
