In this role, you will engage deeply in building core features of Pega platform which runs thousands of BPM and CRM applications around the world. You will be part of team which follows strict agile principles and advocates the Devops culture across engineering teams. This team works on new technologies which are the best practices in the market. They do POC's initially and start evaluate on the basis of production use cases.
- Work as part of a collaborative Agile team working in a SCRUM model surrounded by fun loving talented engineers
- Work with Product owners and other stake holders along with the team members to design and build exiting features into the product
- Active participation in technical discussions to advance the capabilities of products and resolve complex issues
- Ensure that the delivered work meets functional and technical requirements, and quality standards.
- Debug and maintain existing code base
- Document and follow development standards for all coding
- Unit test code to ensure technical requirements are satisfied
- Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer of information
- Stay on schedule with assigned tasks and be productive.
- Work on complex issues to design and develop high quality software
As a Software Engineer, you will be contributing to CI/CD solution of Pega Platform and actively participate in various initiatives such as development best practices, quality, learning, etc.
- 4-5 years of software development experience, preferably in a product development company
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as python and java and writing code and scripts.
- Has hands on experience working on AWS (at-least 1+ year)
- Code, Build and Release management using GIT, Jenkins.
- Container and automation tools such as Docker, Ansible and Kubernetes.
- Agile/Scrum development methodology knowledge/experience
- Ability to keep up with software development trends and innovation
- Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelors / Masters Full-time Degree or equivalent
