Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Monitor security tools and alerts to detect, triage, and respond to security incidents
- Investigate common threats such as phishing, malware, and endpoint alerts
- Validate and review security tool configurations to ensure proper coverage
- Create, update, and maintain incident response playbooks and SOPs
- Manage security workflows, tickets, and processes using FreshService or similar ITSM tools
- Collaborate with Security Engineering on tool improvements and automation initiatives
- Support GRC activities, including audits, compliance documentation, and security awareness
- Track and report metrics like MTTD, MTTR, and EDR coverage
- Assist in evaluating and owning production-ready security automations over time
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or a related technical role
- Basic understanding of endpoint security, incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management
- Ability to review and analyze alerts from SIEM, EDR, or similar security tools
- Experience or willingness to learn ITSM tools such as FreshService or ServiceNow
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Comfortable working with global remote teams
