Job Title: Performance Test Engineer
Location: Hyderabad & Pune
Looking for a candidate with 10+ years of experience.
The required skill set includes:
- JMeter
- System / Test Architecture
- Performance Analysis
- Load Balancer roles and functionality
Role Summary
We are looking for a Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in Apache JMeter to design, execute, and analyze performance, load, and stress tests for enterprise applications. The role focuses on identifying performance bottlenecks, validating scalability, and ensuring system stability under peak loads.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests using JMeter
- Create realistic test scenarios based on business workflows and production usage
- Analyze performance results to identify application, database, and infrastructure bottlenecks
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams for performance tuning
- Monitor system behavior using logs, APM, and system metrics
- Validate load balancer behavior under varying traffic conditions
- Prepare performance test reports with findings and recommendations
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter (test design, correlation, assertions, distributed testing)
- Solid understanding of application architecture (web, app servers, databases, APIs)
- Strong performance analysis skills (response time, throughput, resource utilization)
- Understanding of load balancer concepts (traffic distribution, sticky sessions, health checks)
Good to Have
- Experience with APM/monitoring tools (Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.)
- Cloud basics (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- CI/CD integration expos
- Scripting knowledge (Java, Groovy)
