Job Title: Associate PnL and Valuations

Department: Valuations and Transversal

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid, Rotational Shift)

Position Purpose

Provide daily Economic, Step Reval, and RiskBased PnL to each desk and to management. Ensure accuracy of positions, escalate unusual PnL, run controls, and document exceptional moves.

Direct Responsibilities

• Validate official Economic PnL figures and related explanations (market moves, new deals, etc.).
• Investigate discrepancies with Front Office Predict.
• Review and correct misallocations in PnL Explain.
• Challenge and enhance existing processes where possible.
• Submit PnL for trader signoff.
• Report, comment, and validate PnLs in the official reporting tool.
• Escalate issues promptly to management.
• Maintain high levels of ethics and professionalism.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in banking/finance.
• Bachelors degree required; CA/CFA/postgraduate qualifications preferred.
