Job Opening: DevSecOps Production OPS Engineer Chennai
Experience : 5 to 7 years
Notice period : Immediate to short joiners
Location : Chennai ( Only chennai based profiles )

Position Purpose
As part of IT Group Production, you will operate a critical DevSecOps platform that runs 24/7 in production, supporting CI/CD pipelines, application security services, and deployment tools used by 8,000+ IT employees across Europe and Asia.
This is a productionfocused role with high expectations in terms of rigor, reliability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain Production & NonProduction DevSecOps environments.
Handle incidents, problems, and changes (P1/P2/P3) following ITIL best practices.
Perform routine maintenance: patching, upgrades, obsolescence management.
Monitor platforms, analyze alerts/logs/metrics, and optimize performance.
Manage scalable infrastructure using Linux (RHEL), Kubernetes/OpenShift.
Develop & maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Automate deployments with Ansible, Tower, Autosys; scripting in Shell/Python.
Use monitoring tools like Dynatrace to ensure system health.
Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively during crises.
Technical Competencies
Systems & Infrastructure: Linux (RHEL), production environments.
Containers & Platforms: Kubernetes, OpenShift.
DevSecOps Toolchain: Jenkins, GitLab CI, SonarQube, Artifactory, Fortify, Nexus IQ, ArgoCD, Docker.
Monitoring: Dynatrace or equivalent.
Automation: Ansible, Tower, Autosys, scripting (Shell/Python).
Methodological Skills
ITIL / RUN management practices.
Change management in critical production environments.
Agile / productoriented mindset.
Strong focus on quality, traceability, and continuous improvement.
Behavioral Skills
Excellent communication & teamwork.
Ability to perform under production pressure.
