Job Description

We are looking for an experienced BASE24 EPS Developer / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support, enhance, and manage Electronic Payment Switching (EPS) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong handson experience with BASE24, payment transaction processing, and realtime production support in a banking or payments environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support BASE24 EPS applications
• Handle payment transaction processing including ATM, POS, ISO 8583 messages
• Perform production support, incident management, and root cause analysis
• Configure and troubleshoot interfaces with core banking and external payment networks
• Participate in upgrades, patches, and migration activities
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of payment systems
• Work closely with business, operations, and infrastructure teams
• Prepare technical documentation and support audit/compliance requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of handson experience in BASE24 EPS development/support
• Strong knowledge of BASE24 (EPS / Classic )
• Solid understanding of ATM / POS switching and payment transactions
• Experience with ISO 8583 messaging standards
• Exposure to Linux/Unix environments
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
• Experience working in banking / financial services / payments domain

Good to Have

• Experience with BASE24 customization, parameters, and message flows
• Knowledge of cards processing, authorization, clearing & settlement
• Experience in 24x7 production support environments
• Clientfacing or onsite experience

Education

• Bachelors degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
